If you are thinking about ending your life, please know you are not alone and this feeling can pass. This page shares Pakistani crisis helplines, immediate safety steps, and reasons to stay.
Thank you for writing this down. Saying it — even in one line, to someone you don't know — is harder than most people realise, and you did it anyway.
What you're describing usually means the pain has got heavier than you can carry, not that you actually want to be gone. Those are two different things, and the second one is worth holding on to. This is serious, and it deserves a real answer, not a shrug.
Are you safe at this moment? If there's anyone in the house — a parent, a sibling, a cousin, a roommate — go and sit in the same room as them. You don't have to explain why. Just not being alone changes how the next few hours go.
Put some distance between you and whatever you'd use. Hand it to someone, lock it away somewhere you can't get to quickly, or leave the house for a while. Make the gap longer — most people who come through a night like this describe the urge as short and sharp, so the gap is what protects you.
And tell one person. One message is enough: "I'm not okay tonight." You don't need the right words, and you don't have to explain the whole thing. If the urge gets close and you feel you might act on it, get yourself to a hospital — ask someone to take you if you can.
Not because everything fixes itself overnight, but because a mind in this much pain is not a reliable judge of how the rest of your life will go. What feels unbearable at 2am reads differently in daylight, after sleep, with someone sitting beside you. Many people have been exactly where you are and come out the other side of it.
Zara from our team is here in chat whenever you want to keep talking — tonight, or at 4am, or tomorrow. You don't have to have anything figured out to start.
What has been happening that brought you to this point? And how long has it been feeling this heavy?
