For its size Islamabad has a very large number of private practices — it is the third largest set in this directory behind two cities many times its population — and exactly one public-sector psychiatry department: PIMS in G-8/3. Most of the people listed here work from clinics in the sectors and a good proportion also see people online, which matters because somebody in a nearby town with no psychologist at all can reach an Islamabad practice from home. If the fees here are beyond you, Rawalpindi is the other half of the same city and the Institute of Psychiatry at Benazir Bhutto Hospital is on Murree Road.
