Rawalpindi carries the public side of the twin cities. The Institute of Psychiatry at Benazir Bhutto Hospital on Murree Road is a WHO collaborating centre, it runs both an OPD and an emergency service, and it is the single most useful address on this page for somebody who cannot pay a private fee. Fauji Foundation Hospital in New Lalazar has a psychiatry department as well. Beyond those two, the listings here are private practices, many of them a short drive from Islamabad — if nobody in this list has a free appointment, the Islamabad page is the same labour market.
