Crisis Helplines for Suicidal Thoughts in Pakistan

Answered 14 October 2026 at 12:03 pm PKT

If you are feeling suicidal and need someone to talk to, there are helplines in Pakistan that offer immediate support. This page lists crisis hotlines you can call for free, confidential help.

I'm feeling very depressed and having suicidal thoughts, and I don't have much support around me. Are there any helplines I can call to talk about how I'm feeling?

That is a very heavy place to be in, and I am glad you reached out. You are not alone in this moment, and what you are feeling matters. I want to help you get through the next few minutes.

The best thing right now is to talk to someone who is trained to listen. On our website, at depression.pk/get-help, you will find a list of verified crisis helplines across Pakistan — these are numbers you can call right now. I cannot give you a specific number here because they change, but that page is always kept up to date. Please go there and call one of them. They will understand.

While you are getting to that page, do one thing for me: take a slow breath in for four counts, hold it for four, and let it out for six. Just once. It will not fix everything, but it will bring your body down a little from the edge. Then, if you can, tell yourself: *I do not have to decide anything permanent right now. I just have to get through this hour.*

Zara, our companion, is also here on the site to talk if you want to type instead of call. She is not a helpline, but she will stay with you as long as you need.

You matter, and this moment will pass. Please go to /get-help now.
