Introduction
My name is Shujjah Tahir and I am 16 years old I am an FSc Pre Engineering student and I recently appeared in my first year board exams I have always had big dreams for my future but I never imagined that at such a young age I would have to go through one of the most mentally exhausting and painful phases of my life
My Past
Even before my exams I was suffering from severe depression anxiety and frequent panic attacks my mental condition was getting worse day by day I used to spend almost all my time locked inside my room overthinking about my results and worrying about how my family would react if I failed to meet their expectations
There were days when I could barely focus on anything because my mind was constantly filled with fear and negative thoughts I had almost completely stopped communicating with my family and isolated myself from everyone I was mentally exhausted and emotionally drained and sometimes even the smallest things would trigger my anxiety
I used to experience panic attacks where my heart would start racing and I would feel completely overwhelmed by fear my condition became so bad that even my physical health started getting affected and I developed severe pain in my left shoulder
During that difficult period I joined this group where Sir Imran Hashmi consoled me and helped me manage some of my stress but unfortunately when my first year results were announced my mental condition deteriorated even further
My marks were nowhere near what I had expected and I received supplies in some subjects I cannot explain how devastated I felt at that moment it seemed as though all my hard work and expectations had collapsed
My relatives started criticizing me and my family also said things that deeply hurt me I was already struggling with depression and anxiety and hearing those words made everything even harder I started experiencing suicidal thoughts and felt completely hopeless about my future
I reached out to Sir Imran again and explained everything I was going through instead of judging me he listened to my situation and advised me to communicate with my parents politely and honestly
I followed his advice and that one conversation became a turning point in my life
When I finally spoke to my parents calmly they assured me that they were standing by my side and would do everything possible to support my education and future they even told me that they were willing to give the last drop of their blood for my success
I swear I cannot describe how much those words meant to me after spending so much time feeling alone and afraid I finally realized that my parents still believed in me
My Present
Today I am slowly rebuilding the confidence that I had lost during those difficult months I have finally started looking at my life from a different perspective and I no longer want my past failures to control my future
I have prepared a proper study schedule for my second year with clear targets for syllabus completion and multiple revisions I am determined to improve my weak subjects and work on every mistake that affected my first year performance
The biggest difference between my past and present is my mindset
Before I was constantly afraid of failure but now I am focused on improvement before I used to question my abilities but now I am beginning to believe in myself again
I have finally found the motivation that I had been missing for so long and I am ready to put that motivation into action
My Future
I genuinely believe that I am going to do something good with my life I have complete confidence in myself and my abilities and I know that my first year result does not represent my true potential
I am determined to improve my marks and achieve a much better academic result through consistent hard work discipline and dedication
I know that I am capable of scoring excellent marks and I am ready to put in the effort required to achieve them I have already made a proper roadmap for my studies and this time I want to follow it with complete seriousness
I am no longer allowing the fear of failure to stop me from trying I have goals I have determination and most importantly I finally have confidence in myself
I want to make my parents proud and show them that their trust and support were never wasted I want to prove to myself that one disappointing result cannot decide the direction of my entire life
I know there will be challenges along the way but I am confident that I can overcome them with patience consistency and hard work
I believe that one day I will look back at this phase of my life and feel proud of how far I have come
A Special Thanks
Sir Imran if it were not for you and this group I might still be sitting alone in my room struggling with the same painful thoughts and emotions your guidance helped me find the courage to communicate with my parents and regain the confidence I had almost completely lost
I am genuinely thankful to Sir Imran Hashmi and everyone in this group who supported me during one of the hardest periods of my life
I am sharing my story because I know there are students who might be experiencing the same depression anxiety and fear that I went through and I want them to know that one academic setback does not mean their life is over
I am only 16 years old and I still have an entire future ahead of me
My past was full of pain my present is full of determination and I believe my future will be full of opportunities and achievements
I have not achieved everything yet but I finally believe that I can
This time I am not starting again because I am afraid of failing I am starting again because I believe in myself
